    As a result of period of continuous growth, this highly acquisitive and fast paced Investment Business is looking to strengthen its newly created BI team in Manchester with a recent graduate to take the lead in developing high quality insightful management information to the business.

    Reporting into the BI Manager, the successful candidate will successfully partner stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to gather, comprehend and document report requirements, ensure that stakeholders are kept abrest of the progression of the deliverables, develop reports efficiently and automate reporting/processes to ensure accuracy of output and timely delivery to SLAs. Furthermore you will be pro-active in terms of identifying areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes, maintain existing reporting suites and processes and produce ad-hoc reports on area of performance for a variety of internal customers.

    Applicants should possess a quantitative academic background (Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science for example) with demonstrable experience in working with large data sets/manipulating data. Given the latter requirement you will experience of coding in some form (SWL, R, Python, C++, SQL) furthermore be a natural problem solver and have an innovative approach to new ways of working.
