    Role

    Our client, a high growth PE backed investment business in the heart of Manchester city centre, is looking to recruit a highly talented and high calibre graduate to undertake an all encompassing analytics based role.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    o Support pricing the business - in the UK and mainland Europe

    o Development of the information for the Investment Memo.

    o Develop portfolio pricing models (by asset type) incorporating external performance data

    o Continue to develop and enhance models as the business scales.

    o Help build out the post purchase operational models to help the company make strategic decisions based on the available data.

    o Produce reports showing transaction performance vs underwriting curve

    o Aid in the testing of new data sources to gauge the predictive power of the data set and quantify the cost benefit.

    o Support the (on site) Due Diligence process to understand how the investment portfolio has been managed to date. Reflect the information to assess how the pricing models should be refined.

    o Develop SQL Skills to support with Database maintenance and development

    Applicants should possess a minimum of a 2.1 (MSc or PhD welcome too) in a quantitative field i.e Maths/Statistics/Physics, Economics, ideally possess some form of work experience, coding experience (SQL, R, C++, MATLAB) and modelling experience. Crucially you will be a natural problem solver and have an ability to identify and suggest innovative ways of working. Crucially you will be highly career motivated and genuinely back yourself to succeed in what will be a very fast paced environment.

    This represents a highly desirable commercial role in which you will have the scope to develop into a Senior Analyst in charge of a key area of analytics, Pricing, Forecasting, Operational modelling.
